Main responsibilities of a Chef/Cook:
- Cooking with fresh vegetables every day for lunch, with preparation of suppers, of high quality and appetizingly presented.
- Experienced in Stock Control, Budget Monitoring & Environmental Health requirements.
- Good knowledge of Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and Infection Control.
- Offering excellent cuisine including soft meals and special dietary requirements.
- Ability to plan, design and update menus for the home.
- Ability to adhere to the homes policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the Kitchen is kept in good working order at all times
- Some experience of working in similar environment is required.
- Should have valid CRB/DBS.
- NVQ level 2 related to food and cooking is required
